2019 Memberships are now due. I would like to thank the senior and junior members who have already paid for their 2019 memberships, a number of who are already looking the part in our new 2019 playing shirt, purchased with a £20 discount for members. I have been asked a few questions about memberships over the last few weeks, so I have some responses below:

Why are we collecting memberships earlier than usual?
The change in membership dates falls in line with a change to our constitution that was voted in by all present at the 2018 AGM. This now aligns the club membership to a calendar year, hence the earlier than normal (previous years) request for memberships. This also helps the club plan for the year ahead and the considerable expenses incurred in the run up to the season – ground works, coach qualifications, league fees, insurances, ground fees, balls, indoor hall hire, to name a few.

Why has the price gone up?
The club has absorbed increases in costs across the board over a number of years now - from utility bills to insurance to coaching courses to league fees. We appreciate that there has been an increase in the membership fee, but this is the first real increase in a number of years.

Can I part pay/pay in installments?
Yes you can. To help with costs to players and parents we are open to this. Please contact Daniel Harris or Kev Thompson directly or through 'swindoncricketclub@gmail.com' to discuss this.

What do I get for my membership?
Benefits include being part of a well respected community cricket club, use of our wonderful facilities (the best in the area by our reckoning), qualified coach led training sessions in a safe environment, a coaching structure orchestrated by our head coach Wayne Pascal (one of the best in the County), peace of mind that we are an ECB Clubmark accredited club, access to our bar and preferential bar/hire rates.....to name just a few.

What is the deal with the new playing shirt?
Our main club sponsor has re-branded to 'Coe Capital Wealth Management'. Given the companies (and Mr & Mrs Coes') unwavering and extremely generous support over a number of years we would like to encourage all club members to purchase and wear the new club shirt. This is from a new kit supplier (Masuri via https://teamwear.nxt-sports.com/shop/swindon-cc) and contains the new companies logo. Once your membership has been paid and you have supplied an email address to Dan, Kev or Alex Kill you will receive a £20 discount code from the club off the price of a new shirt. This will be applied to any kit bundle or basket that contains any playing shirt.
