***2019 MEMBERSHIPS ARE NOW DUE***

Memberships for Swindon Cricket Club are now due for 2019, the year we celebrate 175 years of the club. The deadline for memberships is March 31st, with payments after this date subject to an additional fee of £20 per membership. The club would appreciate if memberships are paid promptly following issue of this message, which will aid us during one of the busiest times of the year for outgoings (see examples below).

Membership of the club is a necessity for any player or person using the club on a regular basis, with benefits including use of our wonderful facilities, coach led training sessions, access to our bar and preferential bar/hire rates to name a few. The need for membership reflects that we are a member’s club, run by members, for members and is part of our constitution.

The form indicates that the membership rates in 2019 are as below. While memberships have increased (for the first time in years), it is of note that club memberships only go a small way towards the running costs of the club, which include: ground fees, utilities, equipment, league memberships, insurances, balls, ground preparation, coach development, safeguarding etc. As ever we are indebted to our sponsors, particularly our flagship sponsor Coe Capital, who help us to continue to push the club forward.

It is expected that every player in 2019 will wear the new playing shirt displaying the new Coe Capital logo (available here: https://teamwear.nxt-sports.com/shop/swindon-cc). In order to aid with this requirement, each member (U11’s and above), once fully paid, will receive a code towards the cost of a new playing shirt.

The easiest way to pay your membership is by electronic transfer to the clubs account: ACC NUMBER: 00395480 SORT CODE: 30-98-41. Alternative payment methods and payment plans can be discussed with Daniel Harris (07891 437340). A person shall only be considered a member on receipt of payment and a completed 2019 membership form – although payment followed by a form later is acceptable.
