Swindon come into the game off the back of a good winter and a clean sweep of victories against Potterne and Lechlade 2XI's.
The good preparation showed as they reached 253-6 off their 45. It started very badly losing the wicket of Nathan White (on league debut) for a duck but a 2nd wicket partnership of 127 steadied the ship. John Baden, the pick of the batsmen, fell 10 short of his 2nd ton of the season. Sean Parker (63) and Paul Davies (52*) cashed in on a good deck to set a up a score that was maybe 20-30 short of par.

The 2nd innings got off to a good start for Swindon, Tom Foreman and Sam Husband hitting good areas which soon paid off. Tom taking 1 wicket but had 2 dollies dropped and Sam taking 2 wickets on league debut.The innings was wrapped up by Scott McNeil and Connor O'Shea who took 3 wickets each. Scott, with his new seal impression, was the pick of the bowlers with figures of 7.5-5-10-3.
