Swindon CC are proud to be hosting the NCCA Showcase fixture between Wiltshire and professional side Glamorgan CC on Sunday 21st July. This represents a fantastic opportunity to see a first-class professional team play on your doorstep – for FREE!

Yes, you read that correctly, entrance on the day will be FREE, so we invite all cricket fans to come and join us for a day of top-quality cricket.

Who: Wiltshire CCC v Glamorgan CCC
What: NCCA 50 over showcase fixture
When: Sunday 21st July. Entrance from 09:00. Match start 11:00. Scheduled interval 14:30-15:00. Second innings start 15:00.
Where: Swindon Cricket Club, County Road, Swindon, Wiltshire, SN1 2EE.
Food: Hot food will be available to purchase throughout the day from the clubs catering partner, the fantastic Goody’s Bakery (they do much more than baked goods!).
Drink: Hot and cold drinks available all day. Alcohol from licenced bar from midday. We ask that no alcohol or glass is brought into the ground please.
Parking: Players and guests within the ground ONLY. Public parking is available next door to our ground in the County Ground Car Park.
Seating: Some bench seating will be available but please feel free to bring your own camping chairs and blankets.

The NCCA Showcase games are an initiative that started in 2021. The games represent a fantastic opportunity for the National Counties to test themselves against the best players in the country. On being awarded the fixture, Wiltshire Cricket commented that “a return of National Counties standard Cricket to Swindon CC is just reward for the fantastic work that the club has done in recent years, and for the way in which Swindon CC have supported Wiltshire Cricket more broadly; With regards junior cricket the club has become one of the leading providers of players for the Wiltshire Talent Pathway. The club has also supported broader initiatives such as hosting All Stars and Dynamos camps, hosting multiple primary school competitions, hosting school SEND competitions, and hosting our weekly Lord's Taverner Super 1s hubs during the summer.”
