Liyanage is an exciting bating all-rounder playing for the prestigious Ragama Cricket Club in Sri Lankan domestic cricket. A genuine all-rounder, Liyanage is a strong left-handed top-order bat who doubles as a front-line off-spinner. A schoolboy prodigy, Liyanage’s cricketing journey started at the Sanath Jayasooriya Cricket Foundation in 2010, before excelling at President’s College Kotte, and Thurston College Colombo, respectively.

Liyanage has now played almost 20 matches across the three domestic formats and looks set for a very bright future. Sri Lanka Cricket has already recognised his ability with selection for the Sri Lankan Emerging Team tour of Japan (July 2023).

On Yohan's arrival in late April members will see him across the club as a player, involved in senior coaching, and as part of the pool of youth coaches on Friday nights. He will also be working alongside head coach Wayne delivering high quality coaching and camps for those looking to develop their game further.
