Seb is a talented batsman originally from New Plymouth, New Zealand but is now based in Dunedin on New Zealand’s south island. He is known as a clean-striking Left-handed Batsman that has been in and around the New Zealand pathways system and has an impressive club and national reps record. He had a successful year in the UK in 2024, showing he can adapt to UK conditions. Away from batting he is adept with the keeping gloves and also took a few wickets bowling last year.

In line with our commitment to developing cricketers, Seb is also a Cricket New Zealand Level 1 (ECB Level 2 equivalent) qualified coach, that will form part of our coaching team in 2025. This will include him aiding senior training sessions, junior training on Friday evenings and being available alongside Wayne for 1-2-1 and small group coaching sessions.

The club were very impressed by Sebs statistics, but in getting to know him we are also impressed with him as a person and feel he will be a great fit at Swindon Cricket Club. We are sure all members will join us in welcoming Seb to Swindon CC.
