Family fireworks event 2019 – Saturday 2nd November – We launched out 2019 Family Fireworks and Bonfire event across social media, local websites and event guides. Tickets are selling well (Adults £5, kids FREE!) but can all members please like and share the Facebook event page to help us get the event seen by as many potential customers as possible.

We will need some volunteers during the day and the event to help it run smoothly – please get in touch with Tom Foreman through Pitchero if you could lend a hand for an hour or two.

Outdoor cinema – we hosted another successful outdoor cinema event with Adventure Cinema. The combination of the cooler weather and film choice (Rocketman – which is actually a great film) meant we sold less tickets than the first event, but nevertheless we raised some excellent funds for club. Thanks to all the volunteers who helped in advance and on the night. These events have been great for the club and we are delighted to say we will be hosting them again next year – keep your eyes peeled in early 2020 for tickets.

Winter shutdown – the turnout at the club was disappointing (less than five people!). While these hardy souls got most of the jobs done the covers still need breaking down for winter. We are awaiting a period of dry weather, but when we get it we will need another five people to get this important job done.

NEW DATE – FRIDAY 25th OCTOBER - SENIOR PLAYERS MEETING, AWARDS & CELEBRATIONS at the club........possibly with a trip to Old Town to follow. We hope to gather the views from all players on this season and what we can improve going forward before celebrating the standout players and performances of 2019. ALL PLAYERS IN SENIOR TEAMS ARE ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND.
