Over the last two weeks Swindon Borough Council have been undertaking maintenance works on our Grade 2* listed pavilion. Works included repairs and replacement of sections of the wooden cladding (front, back and sides), painting of cladding, gutter clearing and replacement of the finial spikes that were damaged during a storm last winter.

In the cold winter sun it was great to inspect the works and see our historic home looking so good.

The club would like to thank Swindon Borough Council (particularly Des Allen) and their contractors Ian Williams for the top job they have done to help keep the grade listed building in good condition and use for many years to come.

After Christmas we will have contractors in again, undertaking works in the gents toilets and corridor area and will be looking to progress works on the home changing room.
