It is going to a glorious summer’s day at the Swindon County Ground as England take on India in an Over 40s fixture.

We hope that you can join us as we host this flagship fixture. Please see below some key details and a few answers to questions we have received:

Event: England V India Over 40s fixture – 45 overs
Date: Wednesday 27th May.
Location: Swindon Cricket Club, County Road, SN1 2EE.
Entry cost: FREE! (yes, FREE!). Just turn up. Entry may be restricted if we reach our safe capacity.
Match Timings: Gates open from 10:00. Match starts at 12:00.
Public parking: No parking in our grounds with the exception of players, match officials and volunteers. Public parking is available in the STFC County Ground public car park (behind the County Ground Pub - charges may apply), or it may be possible to park in the local area or other Town Centre Car Parks.
Refreshments: A public bar and two food vendors will be available on the day. Picnics are welcome, but we ask that no alcohol or glass is brought onto the grounds. Please support the host club and enable us to continue to make these events FREE to attend.
Raffle: A raffle will be run on the day, supporting two charities - End Polio Now and Prospect Hospice.
Seating: We have limited benches and seating around the ground, but these will be snapped up quickly. Please feel free to bring your own chairs or a blanket to set up.
Pavilion and patio access: Bar and food ordering locations will be clearly marked, but please note that the pavilion and patio areas are reserved for players, officials and dinner guests only.
Playing area and nets: Please remain outside the boundary rope, off the playing area and outside the nets and any other cordoned off areas.
Rubbish: Bins will be placed around the ground. Please help us keep SCC clean and tidy by disposing of your rubbish in them.
Toilets: Event toilets will be located to the left of the pavilion. A disabled toilet is located within the pavilion and can be accessed on request.
First aid: Please raise any first aid issues to an SCC volunteer or come to the main pavilion building.
