Talking 175, all things SCC and cricket in general!

Last night saw club Chairman Tom and Vice-Chairman Daniel hit the BBC Wiltshire airwaves on the ‘Let's Get Physical’ show to talk about Swindon CC’s 175th anniversary year.

Over the course of an hour we had a number of chats with presenters Marie Indge and Kelly Morgan about the club’s history, what we have to offer, women’s cricket, the state of the game at county and national level and many other things – including dropping in the Presidents age – TWICE! If you would like to listen again (if only to hear the panic in our voices and laugh at our poor 1844 general knowledge) the show is here: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p07557z3#play

Skip to 1 hour 11 minutes to hear us rabble on!

Listening back this morning I am sure we could have said more and thanked more people, but when that light goes red the panic sets in!

If you heard us on the airwaves and have been inspired to play some cricket, please get in touch with us:
